Talking Heads

Talking Heads by Alan Bennett is a modern classic, made into a much loved TV series by the BBC in 1988 and remade in 2020.
Bed Among the Lentils - Directed by Bob Bramble
A vicar's wife is shocked when she believes she finds an unbelievable vision of God at the local convenience store.
Her Big Chance – Directed by Steve McPhail
A young, vivacious but naive actress, recounts her experience starring in a new spy film. Through her self-deceiving and ultimately tragic narrative, the play explores the disparity between her ambitions and the reality of her exploitative and demoralising role in the film.
Lady of Letters -Directed by Eleni Rogers
A lonely lady whose connection to the world is through correspondence. Witty and heartwarming.
Just for something a bit different - our November season of Talking Heads by Alan Bennett will be performed at the South Oakleigh Bowling Club, who are excited to welcome theatre into the space. Seating is at tables, BYO nibbles. Drinks available at the bar only.
